The grounds immaculately tended, and a beautiful chapel. Our room was massive, overlooking the lake. Before bed we went out front to feed the bison and the donkeys. Now considering we were chatting with the chef on the way to the pool, and he seemed really quite stoned, it was a miacle we got any food. We also had some food from the in house restaurant.
During our one night we experienced the casino, and the drinks at the bar - both excellent, with tremendous service. The pool was actually a bit grubby and had not been cleaned that day - but sitting in the sun with a warm desert breeze was simply fantastic. Straight in, straight to the pool for some chill time. Arrival was superb, after all that time in the car, this was an oasis.
